Daily use can result in several kilograms of this substance being deposited on the skin. SLS causes irritation, dryness, redness and possibly inflammation of the skin. It irritates the eyes, hinders and slows down the healing of wounds on our skin. It aggravates skin conditions, and can worsen symptoms in people with eczema or sensitive skin. With the above side effects in mind, it is highly recommended to choose a product free of SLS!
